The Adventures of The Falcon featured shadowy private eye Michael Waring, played by Les Damon (pictured) and several others during its 1943-53 run. Like the series of movies it was based on, the program incorporated plenty of sarcasm from the police-weary Waring while maintaining a satisfying balance of suspense, romance and comedy.

Damon was especially suited for the part, having already enjoyed a successful stint as Nick Charles in "The Thin Man" radio series. Other cast members included Ken Lynch as Sgt. Corbett and Mandel Kramer as Sgt. Gleason.
